Marca.com - Mesut Özil answered his fans' questions on Twitter, and had some interesting things to say. The talented attacking midfielder still has good things to say about the people in his ex-club, for example saying that his childhood idol was "Zinedine Zidane" or that the best player in the world who he has played with after Ronaldo was "Sergio Ramos, who for me is a most complete player."
Regarding who between Cristiano and Messi, he sees as the best, Mesut is in no doubt: "Ronaldo because he is the most complete player in the world - and I have played with him of course!"
The German international was clearly excited about his new club, and talked about the importance of the group: "I don't just want to say one player, I am surprised by the technical quality of the whole team.
When asked what he had missing in order to be the perfect nº10, he sincerely replied, "I don't want to praise myself too much but I think my statistics are good. However, I would like to score more goals." While remembering his times with his ex-club with certain nostalgia, Özil has also adapted very well to his new one, partly thanks to being able to speak with Arsene Wenger in his own language: " We speak in German at the moment. He (Wenger) can speak very well."
The player is delighted to be in London, which he thinks is "unbelievable, it's really nice. There is so much to do here", and is very happy with the affection he recieves from the club and fans: "They have been very positive and I know they have a lot of support for me".
Finally, when asked about who the joker was of the Arsenal squad, Özil replied: "Lukas Podolski is always having fun and makes people laugh", and regarding how he would celebrate his first goal, he replied, "I haven't thought about it yet, it will be a surprise".
